I began taking this mid-pregnancy when my midwife warned me that if my iron levels remained too low, I wouldn't be allowed to have a home birth. I immediately started this iron regimen and my levels came up beautifully...and quickly. I had as expected pregnancy related constipation but nothing I would have attributed to the liquid iron supplement. As I noted above, this has to be one of the worst tasting supplements I've EVER experienced (imagine sucking on a rusted old pipe) and I often chased it with a few swigs of orange juice (perfect because iron absorption is maximized by Vit C). A chaser helps. If you're having trouble with iron levels, of course check with your health care provider, but this stuff is a no brainer in my book...

High Quality Supplement

I'm taking an iron supplement due to pregnancy. My doctor recommended this brand because of its effectiveness. If you can get past the metallic taste, it works great. No constipation. An extra dose of B vitamins. The initial herb taste is great too.

Best Ever!

I am prescribed to take a lot of iron daily. I have a very low hemoglobin (sp?) count. This product taste great, doesn't upset my system, and I have had no problems with constipation. I have been taking it for over a month now, and I'm feeling better. Though it is expensive, my husband won't let me buy any thing else but Floradix. It serves the body well!

I am so grateful for this product. I digest it with no problem. I have a stomach that is only 2oz. That is a very important issue for me. But please do not discontinue the pill form. I am heart broken that there gone.

Great Iron Supplement

Taking this supplement due to pregnancy related anemia. Took me about a week to get used to the taste, but not so bad once I did. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because it is expensive and at a daily dosage of 20ml you'll blaze through it. Other than that it is a great product and I have not experienced any of the negative side effects (upset stomach and constipation) associated with regular drug store iron supplements
