Caution to new takers of rhodiola

Rhodiola is a wonderful herb, but please do some research about recommended dosages. I had taken 1 100mg capsule (from New Chapter) for two days before taking this 350mg capsule from Oregon's Wild Harvest. I took it before work and that was a big mistake. I had to leave work early because I felt so weird. I felt great at the beginning of my day (I took the rhodiola first thing, on an empty stomach), and it actually helped my ADD significantly, as well as my mood and my energy, but after I burned through 26 grams or so of protein in 2 hours from the protein bars I was eating, I was ravenously hungry, didn't get more food in time and proceeded to crash and feel a little ill. Because of this experience, though, I did more research than I had previously and discovered that rhodiola helps with ADD/ADHD and I take half a capsule and that works much better.

I started taking Rhodiola about 6 months ago after hearing about it on Dr Oz. I Love it, it works great on my stress. One capsule a day and I stay nice and calm all day! I highly recommend it!
