R-U-Ved Arjuna is a formulation of herbs, vitamins, and minerals that support heart health. This formulation contains Terminalia arjuna, which in Ayurveda is used primarily to support healthy heart function. Vitamin B-6 and folic acid have long been known to support cardiac health by promoting normal blood pressure and helping to reduce bodily concentrations of homocysteine. Magnesium aids in the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the main energy storage and transfer molecule in the cell. Magnesium also helps to maintain normal cardiac rhythm and pulmonary function and is beneficial in blood-glucose regulation.
In Ayurveda, Inula rosemosa and coral powder have been known to have cardiotonic benefits, and Inula racemosa has been used in respiratory conditions. Coral powder has been used traditionally as a nerve tonic, with cooling and liver-cleansing properties, and provides an excellent source of naturally balanced elemental calcium and magnesium. I am a cancer patient who has been battered by harsh chemical treatments for 10 years now. Every 3 months I have to have an echocardiogram to measure my ejection fraction (pumping efficiency), as the chemotherapies are known to damage the heart. If my EF gets below 50% I have to stop chemotherapy, which is a frightening prospect since I have a VERY aggressive and nasty cancer. My EF was inching down to the low 50's when I started seeing a naturopathic doc. He is an ayurvedic-minded practitioner, and prescribed this specific brand, 3x's daily. In less than 3 months my EF jumped almost 10%, and I am in the 60's now.

After experiencing some heart health issues I added R-U-Ved Arjuna formula into my supplement regimine and have found improvement in symptoms and energy. Some of the key ingredients are CO-Q10, Coral Powder, Arjuna, and Magnesium. I have found that this balanced formula has been one of the best and as a added bonus it does not cantain a bunch of fillers that I do not need. The wisdom of the ancients proves true once again.
