Within 1 month of using this product the split in my nail was healing. This split had been there for years and I had tried silica in the tablet form for over a year with no results. I swear by this product and see noticeable changes in my nails, hair and skin. These changes were noticed by others so I have to give this product all the credit. I have been taking the silica gel for over 1 year and when I stopped taking it for a month the split returned to my fingernail. I am a believer!!

I've been taking the unflavored one for years and it was fine... I don't know why they had to flavor it and dilute it with other subsistence... I like the pure Nature works silica gel better, but this seems to work.
